STATE COLLEGE, PA. - The Seton Hall men's golf team will return to action this weekend for three rounds at the 2019 Rutherford Intercollegiate at Penn State University, April 13-14.

Let our golf professionals share with you their expertise and answer any of your questions. Next to the Golf Shop is The Nineteenth Hole Cafe. This snack area offers a variety of food and snacks for a quick bite or a relaxing meal. The Cafe's open dining area overlooks the courses and provides the perfect compliments to a round of golf.

The Field:
In addition to Seton Hall and host Penn State, the field includes 11 other schools: Connecticut, Cornell, Dayton, Minnesota, Rutgers, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Loyola, Oakland and West Virginia. BIG EAST foe Georgetown is also a part of the talented field.

Last Time Out:
Freshman Deven Ramachandran (San Rafael, Calif.) fired a career-best 3-under-par, 68, in the final round of 2019 Princeton Invitational and the Pirates surged up the leader board to a fourth place finish.Â
Ramachandran had a team-high six birdies on Sunday to move up the individual leader board and finish in an 11th place tie. In all, he recorded his second career sub-par tournament with a 3-under-par, 71-71-68-210.

As a team, the Pirates saved their top team round for Sunday. The Hall shaved six strokes off their second round score, settling with a 5-under-par, 279. They were able to hop three teams in the final standings, including BIG EAST rival Georgetown. For the tournament, the Pirates finished 2-under-par with a 286-285-279-850. Yale won the team title going away at 23-under-par. The Hoyas finished four strokes behind Seton Hall at 2-over-par.

One of the players tied with Ramachandran for 11th place overall was teammate Gregor Tait (Martlesham Heath, England). The sophomore shot an even-par, 71, in round three, and finished the three-round event with a 3-under-par, 68-71-71-210. It's Tait's second straight sub-par tournament and the third of his career. He was also 3-under-par last week at the Redhawk Invitational in Seattle.

Last Time at Rutherford:
Chris Yeom (Flushing, N.Y.) shot a 2-over-par, 73, in the final round to lead the Pirates to a sixth place tie at the 2018 Rutherford Intercollegiate. Yeom was the top Pirate competitor on Sunday, as he was for the first two rounds. The junior tied for third place among 74 individual golfers with a 2-under-par, 69-69-73-211. He finished only five strokes behind the individual champion, Penn State's Cole Miller. It is Yeom's fifth sub-par tournament of the 2017-18 year, and his third top-five.

As a team, the Pirates shot a 19-over-par, 303, in round three. For the tournament, The Hall tied Dayton for sixth place with a 25-over-par, 288-303-303-877. Penn State won the team title at 8-under-par, finishing as the only team under-par for the tournament. Seton Hall's lone BIG EAST competition, Georgetown, finished in ninth place, 16 strokes behind the Pirates.
