Raygan Murray Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Seton Hall's Raygan Murray (Rocky River, Ohio) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll on Tuesday.

Murray had a monster defensive week for Seton Hall in a split of a pair of matches at Villanova. On Friday, the Pirate libero had a career-high 29 digs to go with three assists and a service ace in the Pirates' five-set loss. On Saturday, Murray led The Hall again with 22 digs to go with four assists and three service aces as the Pirates came from behind to defeat the Wildcats, 3-2. She led the Pirates with 5.10 digs per set last week.

St. John's Rachele Rastelli was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, while Ariadni Kathariou earned Defensive Player of the Week honors. The BIG EAST Freshman of the Week was Xavier's Delaney Hogan. Those joining Murray on the Honor Roll include Villanova's Sophia Howling and Averia Salvador and Xavier's Carrigan O'Reilly and Alyssa Overbeck.

Seton Hall will return to action on Friday, March 19 when it plays the first of two matches in two days at BIG EAST rival Connecticut in Storrs, Conn. Match time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. ET.
