Park-Lane Earns Sixth BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll of the Season

The Pirate point guard averaged 18.0 points and six assists in a pair of games last week.
NEW YORK –For the sixth time this season, Seton Hall junior Lauren Park-Lane (Wilmington, Del.) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

Park-Lane continued to thrill the Seton Hall faithful last week in a pair of games. The Pirate point guard led the team with 18.0 points and 6.0 assists per game as The Hall went 1-1 in a pair of BIG EAST contests. Most notably was her performance against St. John's on Wednesday. Park-Lane erupted for 31 points to go with eight assists and three rebounds in Seton Hall's exciting 84-79 victory. She had the game tying three-pointer with just under two minutes left, tallied the game-winning three-point play with 40 seconds left and came up with a steal to secure the Pirate victory in the Red Storm's following possession.

Park-Lane became the first player in Seton Hall history to record back-to-back 30-point games. It was the third 30-point game of her career. Furthermore, it's the eighth time this season she's reached at least 20 points, and the 14th time of her career.

DePaul's Aneesah Morrow was named BIG EAST Player and Freshman of the Week. In addition to Park-Lane, members of the Weekly Honor Roll include Connecticut's Caroline Ducharme, Creighton's Emma Ronsiek, Marquette's Liza Karlin, Providence's Kylee Sheppard and Villanova's Maddy Siegrist.

Seton Hall will return to action on Wednesday, January 26, when it travels to Milwaukee, Wis. for a contest at Marquette. Tip time is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET. The game will be streamed live by the BIG EAST Digital Network and available for FloSports subscribers.
