
Busetto, Fouratt Leading The Hall After Two Rounds at Delaware

REHOBOTH BEACH, DEL. – Ludovica Busetto (Padova, Italy) and Sarah Fouratt (Santa Maria, Calif.) are tied for 13th place overall and have lifted the Seton Hall women's golf team to a fifth-place standing after two rounds of the Battle of the Beach at Rohoboth Beach, Del. on Saturday.

Busetto had a monster first round, using four birdies and 11 pars to shoot a 1-under-par, 71, her first career sub-par round. In the afternoon, she faded to a 7-over-par, 79. For the tournament, she's 6-over-par with a 71-79-150. Fouratt was consistent all day using two birdies and 13 pars in round one and three birdies in round two for a pair of 75's. She's 6-over-par with a 75-75-150.

Both Pirates trail the individual leader, Quinnipiac's Leeyen Peralta by eight strokes entering tomorrow's final round.

As a team, The Hall fired an impressive 10-over-par, 298, in the opening round before shooting a 22-over-par, 310, in the afternoon. The Hall is currently fifth with a 32-over-par, 298-310-608. The Pirates trail the team leader, Dartmouth, by 19 strokes with 18 holes left to play. The Hall's lone BIG EAST competition, St. John's, is currently 46-over-par.

Ana Sarrias Pro (Cadiz, Spain) had three birdies and 11 pars in route to a 3-over-par, 75, in round one. She shot a 6-over-par, 78, in round two. The sophomore is currently tied for 24th place with a 9-over-par, 75-78-153.

Ginevra Zavagli (Rome, Italy) and Ashni Solanki (Melbourne, Australia) are another pair of teammates tied after two rounds at 13-over-par. Zavagli shot a 7-over-par, 79, in round one, and was one stroke better in the afternoon. She's 13-over-par with a 79-78-157 for the tournament. Solanki had 13 pars on her way to a 5-over-par, 77, in round one, followed by an 8-over-par, 80, in round two. She's 13-over-par with a 77-80-157 through 36 holes.
Two additional Pirates made the trip and are competing as individuals. Anne-Sofie Ekman (Copenhagen, Denmark) is currently 17-over-par with an 81-80-161, while Lara Todorovic (Belgrade, Serbia) is 31-over-par with an 86-89-175.

In addition to Seton Hall and host Delaware, the field is comprised of 10 other teams including: Bucknell, Dartmouth, Delaware State, Harvard, Navy, Pennsylvania, Quinnipiac, William & Mary and Youngstown State. BIG EAST opponent St. John's is also in the field.

THE FORMAT:
Teams will play five golfers and count the four lowest scores per round.

THE SCHEDULE:
The field will play two continuous rounds on Saturday, and one, final round on Sunday. For Saturday's rounds, the Pirates will be paired with golfers from Delaware and Harvard with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Sunday's final round pairings will be determined by the golfers' Saturday performance with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
