Pirates to Face VCU, Wisconsin and Georgia at Paradise Jam

ST. THOMAS, USVI – The Seton Hall women's basketball team will participate in the 2022 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam, November 24-26, and will face three opponents, VCU, Wisconsin and Georgia as part of the "Island Tournament."

All games will be played at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center and streamed on ESPN3.

The event will feature four games each day over the three-day stretch. Â In the Island Tournament are Georgia, Seton Hall, VCU, and Wisconsin. Â Facing off in the Reef Tournament are Arkansas, Clemson, Kansas State, and Northern Arizona. Â Island Tournament games will tip-off at 1:00 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. ET, with the Reef Tournament games taking place at 5:45 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily.

Seton Hall will open with VCU on November 24 at 3:15 p.m. ET. The Pirates will take on Wisconsin at 1:00 p.m. ET on November 25 and Georgia at 3:15 p.m. ET on November 26.

The Pirates are 3-1 all-time against VCU, facing them as recently as March. The Hall edged the Rams, 70-67, in the Second Round of the WNIT on March 21 in Walsh Gym behind 22 points and six assists from Lauren Park-Lane (Wilmington, Del.). Seton Hall is 1-1 all-time against Georgia after a home-and-home series with the Bulldogs during the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. The Pirates have never faced Wisconsin.
