The Pirate point guard nets the honor for a third time this season.
NEW YORK – Seton Hall senior Lauren Park-Lane (Wilmington, Del.) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.
Â
It's the fourth time she's been honored by the BIG EAST this season with three Weekly Honor Rolls and a Player of the Week on Dec. 5.
Â
Park-Lane continued her dominant senior season last week, leading the Pirates to a pair of BIG EAST victories. The point guard led Seton Hall with 21.0 points and 8.0 assists in two double-digit wins.  On Wednesday against Georgetown, Park-Lane had game-highs of 23 points and eight assists. Twelve of her 23 points came in the fourth quarter alone as the Pirates pulled away from the Hoyas. On Saturday against Butler, she had 19 points, eight assists, three rebounds and only one turnover.Â
Â
Park-Lane had four made three-pointers in both contests and moved into a tie with former teammate Mya Jackson for fifth place on Seton Hall's career list with 148. On Wednesday, she became only the eighth player in Seton Hall history to reach 1,500 career points.
Â
DePaul's Aneesah Morrow was named BIG EAST Player of the Week. Marquette's Emily La Chapell earned Freshman of the Week honors. In addition to Park-Lane, members of the Weekly Honor Roll include UConn's Aaliyah Edwards, Creighton's Emma Ronsiek, St. John's Jillian Archer and Villanova's Maddy Siegrist.
Â
Seton Hall will return to action on Wednesday when it resumes BIG EAST play against local rival St. John's. Tip time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET. The game will be streamed live by the BIG EAST Digital Network and available for FloSports subscribers. Mike Federico and Michael Stamm will provide the call for WSOU FM or wsou.net.
