
Beaman, Pirates Take First at Embry-Riddle

Daytona Beach, Fla. – The Seton Hall men's cross country team took first place at the Embry-Riddle Cross Country Classic on Saturday morning. Stephen Beaman (Johnston, Iowa) was the first to cross the finish line in leading the Pirates to the team victory.
Beaman's time of 26:50.40 was good enough for the individual title, followed by Logan Brunozzi (Churchville, Pa.) in second with a time of 27:25.90. Kendal Lanier (Kennett Square, Pa.) took sixth overall in 27:54.70, while freshmen Jeffrey Grynaviski (Farmington Hills, Mich.) and Joseph Butler rounded out the top-10 in ninth and 10th place, respectively.
The Pirates place one more runner inside the top-20, with Anthony Cary finishing in 19th place overall with a time of 29:16.6.
The Pirates return to action next Saturday at the Maryland Eastern Shore Farm Run in Princess Anne, Md.
