Pirates Travel To Georgetown For First BIG EAST Road Game

WASHINGTON D.C. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team will be traveling down to Washington D.C. to face off against Georgetown on Thursday, September 26 at 4 p.m.

This will be the second BIG EAST matchup this season for the Pirates as they look to continue climbing up the standings after picking up a point in a draw with Villanova on Sunday. The game will be streamed through the BIG EAST Digital Network on FloSports.

DRAW VS VILLANOVA

The Pirates tied their last matchup against Villanova, 0-0 on Sunday afternoon.
The Pirates are 3-5-2 on the season and 0-0-1 in conference play.
Goalies Anna Prawer (London, England) and Avery Strohecker (Riding, Va.) had a total of 3 saves, shutting out the Wildcats.
Seton Hall's backline, including Chiara Pucci (Munich, Germany), Rachel Gerrie (Littleton, Colo.) Lily Camacho (Summit, N.J.), and Kylie Ray (Hampden, Mass.), all played the full 90 minutes against Villanova.

LOOKING AT GEORGETOWN

The Hoyas are 5-1-3 on the season and 4-1-2 at home.
The Hoyas won their first conference game of the season over Creighton 1-0 at home.
Senior forward Maja Lardner leads the Hoyas with five goals and 13 points, scoring the winning goal against Creighton.
Last season in conference play, the Hoyas were 6-0-4.
In the BIG EAST Tournament finals, Georgetown defeated Xavier 2-0, winning their fourth-consecutive BIG EAST title.
