Senior Jordana Codio (Winter Garden, Fla.) had a career-high 20 points as the Pirates routed Saint Peter's, 88-39, in the 2025-26 season-opener on Nov. 4 in Walsh Gym.

Although Saint Peter's had the first lead of the game, the Pirates immediately responded with a game-changing 22-0 run. The Hall took a 50-19 lead into the half despite only six combined first-half points by superstar guards Savannah Catalon (Mansfield, Texas) and Jada Eads (Orlando, Fla.).

Codio had 20 points on 7-for-13 shooting, while Bishop was an efficient 6-for-8 from the floor, including 2-for-3 from three-point range. In all, 10 of the 13 available Pirates scored. Freshman Zahara Bishop (Minneapolis, Minn.) had 15 points on an efficient 6-for-8 shooting, including 2-for-3 from three-point range. Sophomore Ja'Kahla Craft (Elk River, Minn.) finished with a career-high 13 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter.

Seton Hall and San Francisco will meet for only the fourth time in history, but the second of a home-and-home two-year series. The Hall has won two of the prior three all-time meetings, including a 59-53 victory at Walsh Gymnasium last season.Â

SCOUTING SAN FRANCISCO
San Francisco is coming off a 15-16 season a year ago, which included an 11-9 mark in the West Coast Conference (WCC). The fifth-seeded Dons defeated ninth-seeded LMU in the third round of the WCC Tournament, but fell to fourth-seeded Oregon State in the quarterfinals, which ended their season. Freja Werth earned All-WCC First Team honors, Emma Trawally Porta earned an All-WCC Second Team selection, while Angeliki Ziaka made the All-Freshman Team.

This year, the Dons were picked to finish sixth in the 12-team WCC according to the preseason coaches' poll. Returners from last season's roster comprise of Sol Castro and Paula Tirado, while talented transfers Olivia Williams (UC Irvine), Mara Neira (Presbyterian/Appalachian State), Meghan McIntyre (Southern Oregon), Nevaeh Ferrara Horne (North Dakota), Michelle Ugwah (Morehead State), and Candy Edokpaigbe (Seattle U) add depth and experience to the program.

San Francisco enters its match up with The Hall with a record of 1-1. The Dons throttled UNC Greensboro on opening night at home, 64-40, but were defeated at Boise State, 83-68, on Sunday. Candy Edokpaigbe is averaging a team-best 17.0 points per game, and erupted for 26 points against UNC Greensboro. San Francisco has had some trouble taking care of the ball early in the year, averaging 20.0 turnovers through game so far.
