With the score tied at 39, The Hall went on a 10-2 run on the strength of a pair of made three-pointers from Catalon, the second of which gave it a 49-41 advantage with 28 seconds left in the third quarter. Xavier hit a bucket at the buzzer, and the Pirates took a six-point lead into the fourth.
The Pirates took their offense to a new level in the fourth quarter, starting the final stanza with a game-changing 19-2 run. A pair of made free-throws by Craft with 4:05 left in the contest gave Seton Hall a commanding 68-45 advantage.
