Lejbowicz Lands BIG EAST Honors After Two-Goal Week

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Sophomore forward Mikkel Lejbowicz (Farum, Denmark) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor roll for his two goals in the Pirates' opening weekend of play, the conference announced Monday.
Lejbowicz came off the bench and scored the game-clinching goal for the Pirates in the season opener against Lafayette. It was his first collegiate goal. After that performance, the Dane earned his first collegiate start against Rutgers. In his 82 minutes against the Scarlet Knights, Lejbowicz collected a ball in the defensive third before going end-to-end and scoring to tie the game at 1-1.
Seton Hall will play next on Saturday, September 30, when the Pirates travel to St. Louis, Mo. to take on the Saint Louis Billikens. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with opening kick set for 8 p.m. EST.
