
Resch, Molina Nab BIG EAST Honors for Shutout Performance

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Senior defender Agustin Resch (Arata, Argentina) landed BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week honors, while Matias Molina (Rosario, Argentina) landed on the Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday.
With the pair join Til Kauschke and Mikkel Lejbowicz as the only players selected for a BIG EAST weekly award so far this season.
Seton Hall will play next on Tuesday Sept. 23, when the Pirates play host to the Princeton Tigers. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with the opening kick set for 6:56 p.m. EST.
After Resch scored the opening goal, his second goal of the season, in the Pirates' BIG EAST opener against the Providence Friars in the fourth minute, The Hall never looked back. Molina, with the help of the Pirates' backline, registered his fourth clean sheet of the season along with a season-high five saves.
