
Pirates Play Host to Wagner, UConn

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. –  After losing the opening season of BIG EAST play to Creighton, the Seton Hall (6-10, 0-3) softball team will kick off their first multi-game opponent week outside of tournament play this season.
The Pirates will begin the week on Wednesday, March 11, with a doubleheader against the Wagner Seahawks (2-8) at Mike Sheppard Sr. Field. First pitch between the two teams is set for 2 p.m
.
Afterwards, Seton Hall will stay in South Orange to play host to the UConn Huskies (5-16, 1-1) for a weekend BIG EAST series beginning on Friday, March 13. First pitch for Friday's game between the two teams is set for 2 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Last weekend, the Pirates hosted the Creighton Blue Jays in a rematch of Seton Hall's final series of last season. After falling 20-10 and 15-3 in the first two games, The Hall sat on the precipice of potentially winning the game if they could get out of the top of the seventh holding onto a 6-6 tie. An error on what would've been the third out led to three runs in that inning. While the team pulled one run back in the bottom of the frame, they would end up falling 9-7 in the series finale.
