Pirates Visit Providence On Saturday

South Orange, N.J. - The Seton Hall men's soccer team will hit the road for the first time in two weeks as they travel to Providence for a BIG EAST Conference match. Kick-off is set for 4 p.m. and will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network.

The Pirates (5-6-1, 2-2-0 BIG EAST) enter Saturday's match with a two-game win streak after defeating No. 25 Creighton and DePaul in their last two matches. Providence (3-7-2, 0-2-2 BIG EAST) enters this weekend's contest after defeating non-conference foe Brown on Wednesday. The Pirates and the Friars are taking the pitch for the 33^rd time. Providence holds a 14-12-6 all-time series lead, and has won each of the last four meetings.

Senior Lukas Pangonis has been named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week for the second-straight week.
Senior Andres Arcila leads the Pirates in points (17), goals (seven), and assists (three). He leads the BIG EAST in points and goals.
Gabriel Viola (2g-3a-7p), Marco Neves (2g-2a-6p), and Spencer Burkhardt (2g-1a-5p) have provided significant offensive production.
Redshirt sophomore Peyton Elder has started in net for the Pirates in the last two games. In those games, Elder has a 2-0-0 record with a 0.50 GAA and a .833 save percentage.
The Pirates have won two straight matches against BIG EAST foes. The Pirates defeated visiting DePaul on an 85^th minute goal from senior Lukas Pangonis.

Providence enters Saturday's matchup with a two-game unbeaten streak after forcing a draw with Marquette and a win over Brown
Mac Steeves leads the Friars in goals (six) assists (three), points (15), shots (56), and shots on goal (24). Steeves leads the BIG EAST in shots and shots per game (4.66).
Joao Serrano has tallied two goals and two assists for a total of six points this season.
Colin Miller has been the primary goalkeeper for the Friars this season and holds a 3-5-2 record with 1.29 GAA and .714 save percentage.
Craig Stewart is in his sixth season as the head coach of the Friars.
