
Pirates Visit Providence On Saturday

South Orange, N.J. - The Seton Hall men's soccer team will hit the road for the first time in two weeks as they travel to Providence for a BIG EAST Conference match. Kick-off is set for 4 p.m. and will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network.

The Pirates (5-6-1, 2-2-0 BIG EAST) enter Saturday's match with a two-game win streak after defeating No. 25 Creighton and DePaul in their last two matches. Providence (3-7-2, 0-2-2 BIG EAST) enters this weekend's contest after defeating non-conference foe Brown on Wednesday. The Pirates and the Friars are taking the pitch for the 33rd time. Providence holds a 14-12-6 all-time series lead, and has won each of the last four meetings.

- Mac Steeves leads the Friars in goals (six) assists (three), points (15), shots (56), and shots on goal (24). Steeves leads the BIG EAST in shots and shots per game (4.66).
- Joao Serrano has tallied two goals and two assists for a total of six points this season.
- Colin Miller has been the primary goalkeeper for the Friars this season and holds a 3-5-2 record with 1.29 GAA and .714 save percentage.
- Craig Stewart is in his sixth season as the head coach of the Friars.
