Pirates Host Villanova For Senior Day On Sunday

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. -- The Seton Hall women's basketball team (11-14, 4-10 BIG EAST) is back at home for the final time this season, hosting Villanova (13-11, 8-5 BIG EAST) at Walsh Gym on Sunday afternoon. The 2 p.m. tip is set to air on the BIG EAST Digital Network via the FOX Sports GO app with Jon Schaeffer, David Gass and John Fanta on the call.Â
Sunday will mark the Senior Day and final game at Walsh Gym for The Hall's senior class of Kathleen Egan (Aberdeen, N.J.), Tara Inman (Holdmel, N.J.) and Lubirdia Gordon (Mount Vernon, N.Y.). The trio has been part of teams that have won 82 games at The Hall, tied for the winningest class during the BIG EAST era in South Orange. Tickets for Sunday's contest are available HERE, with the Senior Day ceremony set to take place around 1:40 p.m. Spots are also still available for the post-game Alumni and Senior Reception.Â

- The third quarter proved to be the difference, with Georgetown opening the frame on a 15-2 run and out-scoring the Pirates 28-12 overall in the period
- JaQuan Jackson led all scorers with 23 points for The Hall, adding five rebounds and three steals
- Also in double-figures for the Pirates were Kaela Hilaire (11) and Lubirdia Gordon (10), with Hilaire dishing out a game-high seven assists
- Georgetown held a 52-34 edge on the glass and out-scored The Hall 20-8 in points off turnovers
