Pirates Visit DePaul On Sunday Afternoon

CHICAGO - The Seton Hall women's basketball team (11-12, 4-8 BIG EAST) is back in action on Super Sunday for a showdown at league-leading No. 17 DePaul (19-5, 11-1 BIG EAST). Tip off from McGrath-Phillips Arena is set for 3 p.m. (ET) on the BIG EAST Digital Network and FOX Sports GO app.

The Hall continues a stretch of five-of-seven away from home to end the regular season
The Pirates are looking to split the regular season series with the Blue Demons after falling on Jan. 8 at home
Kaela Hilaire is the reigning BIG EAST Freshman of the Week and leads all conference rookies in scoring, assists and steals
The Hall has defeated DePaul at McGrath-Phillips Arena in each of the last two seasons
JaQuan Jackson ranks fifth in the BIG EAST in scoring in her first season as a Pirate

DPU ranks first in the conference in nearly every offensive category, including scoring offense (81.3 ppg), assists per game (19.5) and turnover margin (+4.6)
Brooke Schulte leads DePaul with 16.4 points per game and is shooting 52.2 percent from the floor
Jacqui Grants adds 13.0 points per game and leads the squad with 8.6 rebounds per contest
The Blue Demons are 10-2 at home this season and took on three top-five opponents in the non-conference

MARQUETTE RECAP
The Pirates fell in their last contest, falling at Marquette by a score of 103-60

LaTecia Smith and Claire Lundberg tied for the team-high with 12 points, combining to go 10-for-17 from the floor
Lundberg also set a new career-high with four blocks
Marquette became the first opponent to score 100 against The Hall since 2007 and first to shoot 60.0 percent or better since 2011
WIth the setback, the Pirates fell to 0-8 all-time against Marquette on the road
The Pirate center duo of Lubirdia Gordon and Jayla Jones-Pack combined for 14 points and nine rebounds

DePAUL SERIES NOTES
The Hall is 4-13 all-time against DePaul, but has fared better in recent seasons

Since realignment prior to the 2013-14 season, The Hall is 3-5 against DPU, good for the most wins against the Blue Demons for any team in the BIG EAST
The Pirates have topped DePaul in each of their last two visits to McGrath-Phillips Arena, including an 83-74 victory on Jan. 29, 2016
In that triumph, Aleesha Powell scored 24 points while Tabatha Richardson-Smith had 20 and seven rebounds
DePaul won the first meeting of the 2016-17 series on Jan. 8 in South Orange, a 96-65 triumph
