
Bronx Bound: Pirates Visit Fordham Thursday Night

South Orange, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team continues its road stand Thursday night when it visits Fordham for a 7 p.m. match at Jack Coffey Field.
It is the third consecutive road match for the Pirates (0-2), who conclude the road stand with a 7 p.m. contest at Monmouth on Labor Day. Last Sunday, Seton Hall got first-half goals from sophomore Siobhan McGovern (Cranford, N.J.) and freshman Cassy Harrington (Beaverton, Ore.), but were outlasted 4-2 at Columbia.
For Harrigan, it was her first collegiate goal, while McGovern's tally was the third of her career.
The Pirates are 4-5 in the all-time series with Fordham. Last season, the Rams came away with a 2-0 victory at Owen T. Carroll Field. The last win for The Hall in the series was a 3-2 overtime match in the 2011 season opener in South Orange.
A total of 24 different Pirates have seen game action through the first two games including eight freshman.
