STONY BROOK, N.Y. – In its first road match of the season, the Seton Hall men's soccer team (0-2-1) dropped a hard-fought 1-0 decision at Stony Brook (2-1-0) on Friday night at Lavalle Stadium. With the setback, the Pirates fall to 2-4-0 all-time against the Seawolves.
After a scoreless first half that saw the Pirates control the action, Stony Brook broke through with a goal in the 58th minute. Elliot Munford (Auckland, New Zealand) made his Seton Hall debut in goal and finished with three saves, while four different Pirates recorded a shot on goal in the setback.
