
Pirates Fall To Georgetown On Alumni Day

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team (5-5-2, 1-4-1 BIG EAST) dropped a 4-0 decision to Georgetown (8-3-3, 4-1-1 BIG EAST) on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at Owen T. Carroll Field. As part of the Seton Hall Weekend festivities, the Pirates honored the 30th anniversary of the 1988 BIG EAST Championship squad at halftime of the setback.
The Hoyas struck early with a goal in the seventh minute, then withstood a Seton Hall surge before capitalizing on a misplay to double their lead late in the first half. Georgetown would go on to tack on a pair of insurance goals in rapid succession just after the hour mark.
