Pirates Place Sixth at Embry-Riddle Classic

Daytona Beach, Fla. – The Seton Hall men's cross country team placed sixth out of 13 competing institutions on Saturday at the Embry-Riddle Classic.
Junior Jesse Southard (Gorham, Maine) led the Pirates for the third time this season, completing the 8K course in 27:39.05, good for 16th place. Senior Jarod Moser (Duncanville, Texas) placed 23rd with a time of 28:01.27.
Freshmen Justin Allone (Holtsville, N.Y.) and Cole Kretlow (Oakland, Calif.) finished in 31st and 48th, respectively, with times of 28:39.21 and 29:33.65.
Looking ahead, the Pirates return to action on Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Maryland Eastern Shore Cappy Anderson Invitational in Princess Anne, Md.
