
Pirates Visit Villanova On Sunday Afternoon

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Seton Hall women's basketball team (14-13, 6-10 BIG EAST) returns to action on Sunday afternoon with a league tilt at Villanova (16-10, 7-8 BIG EAST). Tip-off from the FInneran Pavilion is set for 1 p.m. on the BIG EAST Digital Network, FOX Sports App and WSOU, 89.5 FM.
Both squads are looking to bounce back from Friday setbacks, with the Pirates falling at Georgetown and Villanova dropping a home decision to St. John's. The Wildcats took the first leg of the regular season series with a four-point win at Walsh Gym back on Jan. 25.

- The Pirates led by a score of 51-45 after three quarters, but VU ripped off a 25-point fourth quarter to come back in a 70-66 win
- Shadeen Samuels led the Pirates with a huge 27-point, 16-rebound double-double in the setback and Inja Butina added 22 points and a career-high eight rebounds
- Desiree Elmore was the third Pirate in double-figures with 10 points and added seven rebounds
