
Dana, Giron Added to Monster 2019 Class

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall head coach Allison Yaeger officially announced on Friday the addition of two more newcomers who will play women's volleyball at Seton Hall University in the fall of 2019. Kyleigh Dana (Montgomery, N.Y.) and Jennifer Giron (Benicia, Calif.) bring the 2019 freshman count to a massive class of eight.
A two-year team captain at John S. Burke Catholic in Goshen, N.Y., Dana starred as an outside hitter for three years. A Second Team All-State selection, she joins her brother Casey, who is a rising junior baseball player at Seton Hall. Her older brother Cullen, was a pitcher for Seton Hall before being drafted by the San Diego Padres last summer.
Giron played volleyball for two years at Miramonte High School in Orinda, Calif., earning Max Prep Player of the Year honors in 2018. Active both offensively and defensively, Giron recorded over 500 kills and digs in her time at Miramonte. Highly active outside of volleyball, she also was a standout softball player and is highly active in numerous community service efforts.
