Braccio Paces Pirates at Stony Brook Invitational

Stony Brook, N.Y. – The Seton Hall women's cross country team ran in the Stony Brook Invitational on Saturday morning. Freshman Arianna Braccio (Nashua, N.H.) led the Pirates with a sixth place finish, the first top-10 finish in her young career.
As a unit, the team placed second of six at the invitational with the host, Stony Brook, finishing first.
Along with Braccio, Kassi Yocco (Bethlehem, Pa.) and Emma Newgarden (Staten Island, N.Y.) helped to round out the top-10 finishers on the women's side with finishes of eighth and 10th, respectively.
The Pirates will be back in action on Sept. 15 when they run in the NYIT Invitational in Old Westbury, N.Y.

2. Kassi Yocco – 19:19.91 (8th)
3. Emma Newgarden – 19:42.79(10th)
4. Emily Hernandez – 20:06.63 (13th)
