Pirates Take on La Salle for Home Opener on Saturday

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team will play their home opener against La Salle on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.

The location of the game is to be determined due to the continuing impact of the weather. Should the game be moved from Owen T. Carroll Field, the Pirates will look to play at the Red Bulls Training Facility in Whippany, N.J. The location is familiar to the Pirates who played there last season during the renovations to Owen T. Carroll Field.

LAST TIME OUT
The Pirates drew their opening match against NJIT 3-3, on Wednesday. Johannes Pex (Stephansposching, Germany) scored twice in his Seton Hall Debut. Down 3-2 after giving up the go-ahead goal in the 78^th minute, CJ Tibbling (Jarna, Sweden) found the back of the net with an equalizer in the 80^th minute.

SCOUTING – La Salle (1-0)

The Explorers are coming off a win over BIG EAST foe Villanova, 2-1, last Saturday.
La Salle scored two goals in the final 13 minutes of the game to pull out the victory.
The Hall hold a 4-2 advantage in the all-time series between the two programs with the last meeting coming back in 1989, a 6-0 victory.
