
No. 15 Pirates Host UConn on Saturday

South Orange, N.J. – The No. 15 Seton Hall men's soccer team will host UConn in a BIG EAST matchup on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Owen T. Carroll Field.
The Pirates will look to stay unbeaten at home and enter the game at 6-1-3 overall, 4-1-2 in the BIG EAST and 5-0-1 at home. UConn sits at 1-3-1 overall, 0-3-1 in the BIG EAST and 0-1-0 on the road.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
The department will allow two parents or guardians of each Seton Hall student-athlete to attend an outdoor competition that is hosted on campus, including games at Owen T. Carroll Field for men's and women's soccer, Mike Sheppard Sr. Stadium for baseball and Mike Sheppard Sr. Field for softball.
Unfortunately, due to capacity limits, this policy does not apply towards parents or guardians of members of the opposing team or members of the general public.
LAST TIME OUT
Seton Hall picked a come from behind draw with #3 Georgetown, 1-1 at home.
After a scoreless first half, the Pirates overcame a late 1-0 deficit and scored in the 81st minute to draw against the third-ranked team in the nation. Playing in his first match since the season-opener at NJIT, Eden O'Leary (Tel Aviv, Israel) scored the equalizer for the Pirates. James Boote (Southampton, England) played a free kick onto the back post where O'Leary put his foot to the ball and found the back of the net.
The Pirates were able to keep pace with first-place Georgetown in the BIG EAST East Division with three conference games remaining.
For their efforts, O'Leary was awarded BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week while Andreas Nota (Rome, Italy) picked up his third consecutive spot on the conference's Weekly Honor Roll.

- The Huskies last played on Saturday where they fell at home to St. John's 1-0.
- The Pirates had a scoreless draw at UConn earlier in the season.
- The last Seton Hall win against UConn came in 2011, a 1-0 victory at Owen T. Carroll Field.
NEWS & NOTES
- The Pirates finds themselves at the #15 spot in the United Soccer Coaches Poll and #18 and #19 in polls from College Soccer News and Top Drawer Soccer, respectively. This is the first time the Pirates have been ranked nationally since 2006.
- The 5-0 open at home is the best start at Owen T. Carroll Field for the Pirates since 1999 when they started 7-0.
- The Hall leads the BIG EAST in shutouts with five clean sheets on the campaign.
- Sophomore James Boote has been terrific on set pieces for the Pirates this season. All four of Boote's team-leading four assist have come off of set pieces this season.
- Senior goalkeeper Andreas Nota has been fantastic for the Pirates between the pipes this season. Nota has had a hand in all five Pirate shutouts this season with three of them coming in BIG EAST play, good enough for tops in the` conference. Nota's Goals Allowed Average sits at 0.66, which is on pace to shatter the previous single-season.
- Seton Hall is currently outscoring its opponents 9-2 in the first half this season. In total on the year, Seton Hall has only trailed a collective 41:34 of game time.
