How it Happened
No goals were scored in the first half, but it did not come without plenty of chances for Seton Hall. The Pirates dominated possession in the first 45 minutes as they outshot the Wildcats 7-2, but the teams went into halftime scoreless.
It did not take long to change that in the second half, as JP Marin scored just 50 seconds into the second half. Marin played a ricochet off the near post off a cross from Johannes Pex (Stephansposching, Germany), and was able to bury one to give the Pirates a 1-0 advantage.

After finding themselves trailing, the Wildcats began to mount more chances on offense. In the 72nd minute, their efforts finally paid off. After a shot from Balthi Saunders off a free kick was saved by Hannes Ronnholmen (Stockholm, Sweden), Villanova's Viktor Benediktsson swooped in and scored on the rebound to tie the match at 1-1.
The Pirates would responds quickly, as they were able to find another late go-ahead goal. In the attacking third, Andrea Borg (Sliema, Malta) fed a pass to Quenzi Huerman (Vannes, France) at the top of the penalty area. Huerman found an open Boote, who dribbled to his right foot to find space and buried a shot inside the left post to put Seton Hall ahead for good.
