South Orange, N.J. -Â The No. 15Â ranked Seton Hall men's soccer looks to claim its first win in BIG EAST play when the team travels to Storrs, Connecticut, on Saturday to face No. 24 UConn in Joseph J. Morrone Stadium at Rizza Performance Center. This will be the Pirates' first matchup against a ranked opponent this season. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
- Seton Hall and UConn last competed on September 23, 2023, in an early-season affair. In the first 20 minutes, the Pirates rushed out to a 2-0 lead off the back of a 13th minute goal from Hugo Gerbore, and a 17th minute goal from Rikard Cederberg. In the 63rd minute, Cederberg added his second goal off the game. Two UConn goals followed soon after before James Boote shut the door on the Huskies with a penalty kick goal in the 89th minute. As a result, Boote finished the game with one goal, two assists and secured the 4-2 win for the Pirates.
- This is the 36th matchup between the two programs, the first of which came in 1987.
- Seton Hall is 16-15-4 all-time against UConn, with a 3-1-1 record in their last five meetings.
- On Tuesday, Lehigh visited Seton Hall at Owen T. Carroll Field for the Pirates' penultimate game of non-conference play. The Pirates won the match 2-0.

- In Head Coach Andreas Lindberg's tenure, Seton Hall appeared in the United Soccer Coaches top-25 seven times during the 2020 season, reaching as high as No. 6. Then Seton Hall spent four weeks in the national rankings during 2021.Â
