Lassalle Posts Victory At ITA Regionals

After sweeping past Borzi in the first round, Lassalle fell to Virginia Tech's Kristen Stubbs, 1-6, 2-6, in the second round to end her tournament play. Lassalle ends the tough fall season with a record of 8-11 playing first singles for Seton Hall.
Lassalle led the small crew of three Pirate competitors in action at the ITA Regionals. Freshmen Kim Barfuss (Denville, NJ) and Nicole Cercone (North Seminole, FL) also made the trip to compete in doubles action.
Barfuss and Cercone dropped their opening round match to Kabanova and Saedinia of Syracuse, 3-8.
This marks the conclusion of the fall pre-season for women's tennis. The Pirates will return to action with the beginning of the spring season at the Army tri-match on Jan. 28.
