
Kljestan and Niziolek Selected in 2007 MLS Supplemental Draft

The MLS supplemental draft, which allows teams to fill the rosters of their reserve teams, saw 51 players drafted over four rounds.
Kljestan, a six-foot, 170 lb. defender, was a 2006 Preseason All-BIG EAST selection. As a senior, he started in all 16 games in which he appeared, picking up two assists along the way. His brother and fellow Pirate alum, Sacha, was chosen by Club Deportivo Chivas USA with the fifth overall pick in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft.
Niziolek, a 5-11, 160 lb. midfielder, totaled five goals and four assists while starting all 18 games for the Pirates. He was a 2006 Second Team All-BIG EAST selection and a First Team National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Northeast Region choice.
