The Panthers tied things up in the 56th minute when Mike McDade sent a long pass down the middle to McCormick, who beat a pair of Pirates’ defenders to the ball before finding the back of the net.
Pitt continued its pressure as the game wound down and finally took the lead when Prince-Wright took a cross from Justin Boehm and scored from the left side of the box in the 85th minute, making it 3-2.
SHU made a valiant effort over the final few minutes, but a shot from Sela in the 88th minute went high, allowing the Panthers to escape with the win.
