PROVIDENCE, R.I. A pair of goals over the last two games has earned sophomore Dritan Sela (Wayne, N.J.) a spot on this week’s BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
Sela tallied the Pirates’ lone goal in a 1-1 tie against #13 Notre Dame before adding another score in a 3-2 loss to Pittsburgh. He is tied for first in the BIG EAST with five goals in conference play. The honor is the first in the career of Sela.
Scott Larrabee of Georgetown was named Offensive Player of the Week, Yohance Marshall of USF earned Defensive Player of the Week, Josh Ford of Connecticut was chosen Goalkeeper of the Week and Sebastien Thuriere was named Rookie of the Week.
Joining Sela on the Honor Roll are Jeff Attinella of USF, Cruz Hernandez of Connecticut, Spencer Schomaker of Syracuse and Brian Visser of DePaul.
