Stilwell (2-3) faced three batters in the first inning without recording an out, then returned to pitch the final two-plus innings. Best was the only player with multiple hits for the Pirates, and junior Leah Menichetti’s (
Menichetti opened game two by reaching base on a throwing error by pitcher Jody Valdivia, and moved to second on a passed ball. Waldron delivered a double down the leftfield line to give Seton Hall a 1-0 edge after one inning.
