SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
No. 14/16 Louisville is batting .320 as a team and have eight starters hitting over .300 on the the season. Sophomore SS Colby Wherry leads the team with a .403 average. Sophomore third baseman Chelsea Bemis follows with a .398 average, six home runs and 27 RBI. Pitchers Kristen Wadwell and Tori Collins have a combined 1.07 team ERA. Wadwell - the current BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week - has shouldered the majority of the pitching duties, logging 157.2 innings and has already surpassed her 20th win of the season. She carries a 0.93 ERA and leads the conference with 146 strikeouts.

Junior Ashley Forsyth had a perfect game going through 5.2 innings in game two against the Hoyas before surrendering a hit. Forysth finished with a complete-game, two-hit shutout and struck out eight in the 3-0 triumph.

Seton Hall has been aggressive on the base paths to begin the year. The Pirates are 44-of-54 on steals so far on the season and are second in the BIG EAST in that category. Sophomore Michelle Reed is 15-for-16, and has already eclipsed her stolen base total from the 2008 season.
