Sophomore Michelle Reed stole three bases at Marist on Apr. 9, giving her 22 on the season to tie Seton Hall’s single-season steal record. Reed has also moved up to sixth place in career steals with 34 in under two seasons. She is 31 swipes away from that record.

For the second consecutive weekend, the Pirates knocked off a ranked conference opponent when they upset No. 20 DePaul 4-3 in the second game of a twinbilling on Apr. 4. SHU also knocked off No. 14 Louisville, 6-5, in game two of a double-header on March 29. The Pirates are now 4-4 against ranked teams in their last eight tries.
IT’S A DRAW
Seton Hall’s 3-3 tie with Monmouth on April 1 was the team’s first stalemate since April 25, 2000 when they played to a scoreless draw against St. Peter’s.
