Softball Draws DePaul in BIG EAST Championship Quarterfinals

PROVIDENCE, R.I. The Seton Hall softball team has earned the eighth seed at the BIG EAST Championship, being held in Louisville, Ky., from May 7-9. The Pirates (24-30-1, 10-14) will open the tournament against the top-seeded DePaul Blue Demons at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.

 

Seton Hall was last in the BIG EAST Championship in 2007, and looking to avenge a first round loss to DePaul in the eight-seed vs. one-seed matchup. The Pirates split the regular season series with the Blue Demons in Chicago, Ill. on April 4.
