
Martinez Taken By FC Dallas in MLS Supplemental Draft

BALTIMORE, Md. - Former Seton Hall men's soccer player Brayan Martinez (West Orange, N.J.) was selected by FC Dallas with the 18th pick of the first round in the 2011 MLS Supplemental Draft on Tuesday.
Martinez scored a team-high six goals and two assists in his senior season en route to being named Second Team All-BIG EAST. He finished his career with 14 goals and 15 assists.
Martinez is the first Pirate player selected in the MLS Supplemental draft since 2007 when Gordon Kljestan and Teddy Niziolek were taken in the first and fourth rounds, respectively.
