Arcila and Jimenez Net BIG EAST Honors

NEW YORK – A pair of Seton Hall men's soccer players were honored by the BIG EAST in the league's year-end awards, announced on Saturday (Nov. 5). Andres Arcila (Cartagena, Colombia) was honored with a Second Team All-Conference nod while Jonathan Jimenez (Cape Coral, Fla.) picked up a spot on the league's All-Rookie Team.

Led Seton Hall with seven goals, 18 points and 47 shots
Ranked second on the Pirates with four assists
Was a perfect 3-for-3 on penalty kicks
Scored the most goals in a season for a Pirate since 2013
Ranked sixth in the BIG EAST in goals and eighth in points
Notched his first career multi-goal on Aug. 26 at Saint Peter's
Had a career-best five point effort with two goals and an assist vs. Lehigh on Sept. 10
Earned a pair of nods to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
First All-Conference honoree for The Hall since 2013

Jonathan Jimenez – BIG EAST All-Rookie Team

Scored two goals and notched a team-high five assists during his first season in South Orange
Checked in at second on the squad with nine points and third with 25 shots
Scored the game-winning goal in a three-point effort vs. Marquette on Oct. 1
Named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week on Oct. 3
Finished the regular season ranked eighth in the BIG EAST in assists
Selection marks the fourth-straight season The Hall has had an All-Rookie selection
