The Hall Hosts Lehigh In Lace Up Game on Saturday

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team (1-2-1) returns to the pitch on Saturday afternoon to host Lehigh (1-2-0) at Owen T. Carroll Field. Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. in a contest available live and FREE on the Pirate Sports Network.

Saturday afternoon's contest will be part of the Go4theGoal Foundation's Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer initiative. The Pirates will be wearing gold laces to raise awareness for the cause. More information can be found HERE.

The Hall is coming of a 1-1 draw to Penn in its last contest on Sept. 5, picking up a hard-fought result despite playing all but seven minutes of a double overtime contest a man down. Jonathan Jimenez (Cape Coral, Fla.) scored his first career goal in the match and Julian Spindler (Weiserbach, Germany) tied a career-high with seven saves.

Lehigh most recently hosted Delaware on Sept. 2, dropping a 1-0 decision to the Blue Hens. The Pirates and Mountain Hawks have squared off twice in the past, splitting a pair of matches in the 1996 and 1997 seasons.

Andres Arcila (Cartagena, Colombia) leads the Pirates across the board offensively through four matches with two goals, five points and 13 total shots
In addition to his highlight-reel goal on Monday, Jimenez also has an assist this year to rank second on the squad with three points

The Mountain Hawks visit South Orange with a 1-2-0 record on the year, picking up a win over James Madison along with setbacks to Radford and Delaware

Oscar Greene scored the lone goal for the Mountain Hawks this season, assisted by Mark Forrest
Forrest leads the squad with six total shots
Jacob Gottwald has been excellent in goal, holding a 0.67 GAA and an .889 save percentage

What's Ahead
After hosting Lehigh the Pirates begin a four-match stretch away from home which includes the start of BIG EAST conference play. First up is a trip to Delaware on Sept. 14 before heading to Creighton on Sept. 17.
