NEW YORK – For the second-straight season, Seton Hall men's soccer midfielder Andres Arcila (Cartagena, Colombia) has garnered All-Conference honors with a Second Team All-BIG EAST nod. Arcila becomes the first Pirate to go back-to-back years on an All-Conference team since Brayan Martinez in 2009 and 2010.
In his final season in South Orange Arcila was brilliant, scoring nine goals with three assists to total 21 points over the course of his 16 matches. The 21-point output was the best for a Pirate since Samuel Petrone also notched 21 in the 2008 season. The Colombian senior ranked third in the BIG EAST in total goals and points while ranking second with three game-winning goals.
Over the course of a three-year career on the pitch, Arcila totaled 18 goals and 10 assists to finish with 46 points in 47 career matches. He was also a perfect 5-for-5 on penalty kicks during his career and logged 3,990 minutes.
