Pirates Eager to Run at BIG EAST Championships

Kenosha, Wis. - The Seton Hall women's cross country team will compete in the 2019 BIG EAST Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2. Women's race time is set for 12:50 p.m. (EST).Â
The race will take place at the Wayne Dannehl National Cross Country Course. This is the third time the BIG EAST has hosted their championship at the site with the previous two races having occurred in 2013 and 2017.
The Pirates are led by senior Kassi Yocco (Bethlehem, Pa.) who has been outstanding for Seton Hall this season. Yocco has paced the Pirates in four of six meets so far this season with second place finishes in the other two. In the NJIT Highlander XC Challenge on Oct. 5, Yocco led the Pirates to a team victory with an overall fourth place finish with a season-best time of 18:14.65.
As a unit this season, the Pirates won two meets with top-five finishes in all but one meet.
