LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. – The Seton Hall softball team fell in their final contest at the Golden State Softball Classic to Utah State University, 8-0. The Pirates finished the tournament with a 1-4 record in five contests.

The Pirates will travel to Conway, S.C. to take part in the Chanticleer Showdown hosted by Coastal Carolina starting on Feb. 21.

How it Happened
- The Aggies scored two in the second to get the scoring going.
- Utah State doubled its lead with two more runs across in the bottom of the fifth.
- The Aggies put the game away with four runs in the bottom of the sixth to take an 8-0 victory.
- Janae Barracato (Hempstead, N.Y.) picked up her fourth double of the season in the third.
- The Pirates continued their success hitting with two outs with each of the Hall's four hits coming with two gone in the innings.
- The Aggies outhit the Pirates 9-4.
