Pandolfo Powers Her Way to BIG EAST Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Continuing her hot start to the 2020 campaign, Seton Hall softball senior Darby Pandolfo (Massapequa, N.Y.) has been named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the week of Feb. 17. The conference office made the announcement on Monday.
In five games over the past weekend, Pandolfo slugged .800 with three doubles and a home run while driving in six runs for the Pirates. The senior hit safely in four of five games in the Golden State Softball Classic in Lake Elsinore, Calif.
In the Pirates' thrilling 6-5 win over San Diego, it was Pandolfo who had the big knock for The Hall. Down two runs in the bottom of the seventh, Pandolfo delivered with a two-strike, three-run home run to put the Pirates ahead for good.
An All-BIG EAST pick at the end of last season, this is Pandolfo's second time as a weekly selection and first since being selected BIG EAST Player of the Week for the week of 2/20/17.
The Pirates are back in action this upcoming weekend with five games in the Chanticleer Showdown hosted by Coastal Carolina from Conway, S.C.
