Nota Earns Spot on BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Seton Hall's Andreas Nota (Rome, Italy) was awarded a spot on the BIG EAST's Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. This was the first edition of the conference's weekly honors for the 2021 season.
In the Pirates' first match of the 2021 season, Nota picked up where he left off in the 2020 campaign. The graduate-student goalkeeper earned the clean sheet in The Hall's nil-nil draw with Temple on Thursday. The shutout was Nota's 11th as a Pirate putting him in a three-way tie for fourth most in program history. Nota also picked up two saves in the process while lowering his career Goals Against Average to 1.07 which puts him in a tie atop the program's all-time leader board in that category with Boris Pardo.
Nota was a Second Team All-BIG EAST selection last season and was a three-time Weekly Honor Roll pick as well.
The Pirates will return to action on Monday night when they host Delaware. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:56 p.m., with the match being streamed on FloSports.
