
2021-22 Women's Swimming & Diving Schedule Released

South Orange, N.J. -Â The Seton Hall women's swimming and diving team has announced its schedule for the 2021-22 season. Following an abbreviated 2020-21 slate, the Pirates will rebound with 10 scheduled meets prior to the BIG EAST Championships to cap off the regular season.
The Pirates will open things up with an away meet at Rider slated for Saturday Oct. 9. Then, the Pirates will return home to Arthur E. Imperatore Natatorium for two meets. The first of these home meets will take place on Oct. 23 when the Pirates host the Black Knights of Army. The Hall will then welcome in Monmouth to South Orange for a meet on Oct. 30. The Pirates will briefly hit the road for a meet at La Salle on Nov. 6 with the Rowan Diving Invite occurring on Nov. 13.
From there the Pirates will wrap up the fall season with a trip to Fairfax, Va., to take part on the Patriot Invitational hosted by George Mason. The three-day meet will take place from Nov. 18-20. A mainstay in the Pirates' schedule, The Hall will be back at the Patriot Invitational after missing last season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
To kicks things off in the winter season, the Hall will open up on the road at Fairfield for a meet on Jan. 7 before returning home for a pair of meets at Arthur E. Imperatore. The first of these two meets will against BIG EAST foe UConn. That match is set for Jan. 15. The Hall will then play host to UMBC the following Saturday, Jan. 22.
The Pirates will wrap up the month of January with meet at Georgetown on Jan. 29, which will serve as the final tune-up before the Pirates head to BIG EAST Championships. The 2022 BIG EAST Championships will return to East Meadow, N.Y., at the Nassau Aquatic Center after a year away. The BIG EAST swimming & diving season will culminate at East Meadow from Feb. 23-26. The Pirates placed fourth at the 2021 BIG EAST Championships.
Some other important dates of postseason to note are the NCAA Zone Diving Championships set from March 7-9 at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., as well as the CSCAA National Invitational Championship at the Elkhart Health and Aquatic Center from March 10-12. NCAA Championships are set for March 16-19.
