
Multiple Top Times Set on Day Three

Starting the night off with a showing on the podium was Allie Waggoner (Moorestown, N.J.) in the 400 IM. Waggoner touched the wall in a time of 2:27.23 shaving over two seconds off her prelim time for a sixth-place finish. In the consolation final of the event, Heidi Dickson (Greenwich, N.J.) swam a personal-best time of 4:29.08 for a second-place spot.

Swimming in the Championship Final of the 100 Fly for the Pirates was the duo of Sierra Cripps (Seymour, Conn.) and Josie McCartney (Verona, Wisc.). Cripps finished in a time of 56.00 while McCartney swam a personal-best time of 55.63. Swimming a season-best time of 1:53.61 in the 200 Free Bonus Final was Madeleine Bachand (Raleigh, N.C.). Natalie Heim (Middletown, N.J.) and Amanda Zajdzinski (Mesa, Ariz.) finished the consolation final of the event with times of 1:51.96 and 1:52.99, respectively.
Competing in the Championship Final of the 100 Breast for Seton Hall was Lauren Schofield (Clark Summit, Pa.). The freshman finished in a time of 1:05.96 in her first championships. The Pirates also picked up a trio of best times in the consolation final of the event. Lea Moeller (New Lenox, Ill.) won the event with a time of 1:05.00 for a season best while Meredith Mutter (Pottstown, Pa.) took second with a personal-best time of 1:05.22. Nicole Bastian (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) took fourth with a person-best time of 1:05.38.

Seton Hall currently finds themselves in fifth in the BIG EAST team standings with 578.5 points.

The Pirates will be back at it for the final day of the BIG EAST swimming and diving championships tomorrow. Tomorrow's schedule of events will be as follows: 1650 Free, 200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breaststroke, 200 Fly and 400 Free Relay. The championships are being streamed live on FloSwimming.
