Promotional Schedule Set for This Weekend's UConn Series

South Orange, N.J. - The Seton Hall softball team is hosting its final weekend series of the season, and the Pirates want to pack Essex County Mike Sheppard, Sr. Field for their big showdown with UConn!Â
Friday: Student Appreciation Cookout
The series begins Friday with a 3 p.m., first pitch, and the athletics department is hosting a Student Appreciation Cookout! Free burgers, hot dogs, chips and cookies will be available to Seton Hall students while supplies last beginning at 2:30 p.m. The cookout setup will be at the entrance to the softball field; students are encouraged to pick up their food and then head into the softball field to cheer on the Pirates!
Saturday: Alumnae and Youth Day
Saturday's game has a 1 p.m., first pitch, and it is Alumnae and Youth Day! Seton Hall softball alumnae have been invited back to enjoy brunch and then stay to watch the game. Members of youth softball teams from multiple towns in the vicinity of Seton Hall will also be in attendance to cheer on the Pirates! If any additional youth teams are interested in attending, please contact the marketing office at athleticsmarketing@shu.edu.
Sunday: Senior Day
Sunday's game takes place at noon, and it will be Senior Day. The Pirates will honor their graduating seniors in a pregame ceremony.
All Seton Hall softball games take place at Essex Country Mike Sheppard, Sr. Field and are free to attend. Fans should park on the Seton Hall campus and then access the field using the Ivy Hill Park gate next to the parking deck.
