South Orange, N.J. - The Seton Hall men's soccer program, winner of the 2020 BIG EAST Tournament Championship and one of the eight quarterfinalists at the 2020 NCAA Tournament, will hold an ID clinic on Thursday, April 21 at Owen T. Carroll Field from 5-9 p.m.
Open to current high school players, participants are asked to bring cleats, shin pads and water. The Pirates coaching staff is led by head coach Andreas Lindberg and assistant coaches Jeff Matteo and Edison Sanchez. During the 2020 season, which was conducted in spring 2021 due to COVID-19, Lindberg led the Pirates to a 10-2-4 record, and the program dethroned Georgetown in the BIG EAST Tournament championship game for the program's first conference title since 1991. Seton Hall went on to earn the No. 6 national seed in the NCAA Tournament, earned a first-round bye, defeated Air Force in the second round and knocked off Virginia Tech in the third round in dramatic penalty-kick fashion to reach the quarterfinals for the first time since 1988.
In addition, the staff helped produce two All-Americans as well as five All-BIG EAST selections.
