Rain Washes Out Pirates' Finale at Joan Joyce Classic

Boca Raton, Fla. - The Seton Hall softball team's final matchup of the Joan Joyce Classic was called in the top of the fifth inning due to inclement weather. The Pirates trailed Michigan, 2-1, with two outs in the top of the fifth inning when umpires called the players off the field due to heavy rain. Since the top of the fifth inning was not completed, the contest was deemed a "no game." All statistics from the game will not count.
The Pirates will return to action next weekend as they take part in the ASU/GCU Classic in Phoenix, Ariz.
