Kelsey Carr Lands on BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Seton Hall senior Kelsey Carr (Ridgewood, N.Y.) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced on Monday. This marks the second time this season that Carr has received a weekly honor from the league.
Carr appeared in three games this week for the Pirates, posting a 1.40 ERA and earning the complete game win on Thursday against Butler. In that game, she pitched all eight innings in the extra innings win, allowing just one run and striking out five. Carr also pitched three perfect innings in Tuesday's win over Stony Brook, setting down all nine batters she faced to complete a combined one-hitter.
Carr and the Pirates return to the field this Friday as they open a three-game series with Providence.
