NEW YORK, N.Y. – Sophomore forward Mikkel Lejbowicz (Farum, Denmark) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor roll after scoring the game-tying goal in the Pirates 1-1 draw against Akron, the conference announced Monday.
Seton Hall will play next on Tuesday, October 21, when the Pirates travel to Bethlehem, Pa, to take on Lehigh. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with opening kick set for 6 p.m. EST.
After going down 1-0 early, the Pirates subbed on Lejbowicz in the 30th minute to bolster the their attack. The move paved dividends in the 39th minute when the Dane collected a ball saved by the Zips keeper and sent into the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1, where it would eventually end. It was Lejbowicz's third goal of the season and the first since August. No review will stop Mikkel from tying this match!#HALLin🔵⚪️⚽️ | 🏴☠️x🇩🇰 pic.twitter.com/UL7myeWgCn
